Learn how to make slab mugs, extruder coil bowls and clay pinch pots in this demo-based class. The Instructor will show hand building sculpting techniques while using varying hand building tools to make these clay objects. Then students will choose what they want to create. How to add texture to pieces will be focused on, along with adding colored underglazes. The Instructor has experience making abstract hand built sculptures and will demo this so students will have the option to try that too. The clay slab roller and extruder will be demoed and the whole process of making a ceramic piece from start to finish will be discussed. Aprons provided, please dress for a mess.
